Profiles
Simon Fox
Since first ‘treading the boards’ at the age of 45 in 2008 I have played principle roles in theatrical productions for; Qingdao Int’l Drama Group, Academy of Creative Training, Sky Blue Theatre-British Theatre Challenge, Printers Playhouse, Seaford Little Theatre and Seaford Musical Theatre
I am delighted to have been invited by Ignite Theatre to join them for Wind in the willows and to get acquainted with my inner Toad!
Trevor Scales
Trevor was classically trained at East 15 Acting School - a major proponent of Stanislavski and directly in the lineage of the ground breaking Theatre work of Joan Littlewood.
He was also very fortunate to have been personally mentored by the legendary Theatre Director Simone Vause , to whom he is forever indebted for her tireless encouragement and intensive training.
Trevor has performed in a large number of plays in London, Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Festivals cast as a wide range of very differing characters.
He especially happy and proud to be an original Cast Member of Brighton’s Pop Heart Productions for whom he has performed for twice in ‘ Decade 20 ‘ and more recently the much acclaimed ‘ Blue Sky Thinking’ in Brighton Fringe Festival.
Trevor is very happy to be in Ignite Theatre's second production following on from the success of 'Memory of Water' as Frank.

Jon Terry
Jon has been a theatre actor for many years and has appeared in numerous productions including Waiting for Godot, The 39 Steps and many Alan Ayckbourn productions.
Following lockdown Jon is planning to once again make acting his main focus and has a number of exciting projects lined up.
David Hallett
Following careers in teaching and I.T., David retired to the Sussex village of Piddinghoe, and has since appeared in several productions in and around Newhaven including Jarvis in MAD’s Chorus of Disapproval, Albert in Lewes Little Theatre’s Accolade, Smith in Seaford Little Theatre‘s Murder on the Nile, and in Synergy productions as Sir Robert Morton in The Wilmslow Boy and Dr. Chasuble in Importance of Being Ernest.
Most recently, he was pleased to have joined some of the Willows cast as Bob in BrytEyes production of Who Gets the Cat. He has also written and directed short, satirical pieces for the Piddinghoe Players, performed in the village.
Helena Jevons
Helena cut her acting teeth as a teenager playing small feminine roles like Macbeth and Henry Higgins at an all girls’ grammar school. She was hard to keep off stages after that although she does like to occasionally play an actual woman - her favourite role ever was madcap Bobbie in Neil Simon’s Last of the Red Hot Lovers.
She lives in seaford with her two young children, plays guitar pretty badly and salsas pretty well.
This is her first acting gig post motherhood and she hopes she can remember what she is doing.
To pay the bills she consults with local businesses from the University Business Incubator at Sussex University at Falmer and builds websites for local start ups.
Hana Vincent
Hana Vincent spent her childhood and teens training and performing with Seaford Youth Drama appearing in pop-up street theatre’s, summer and Christmas shows and annually at the Eastbourne Festival.
Since then she has appeared at the Seaford Little Theatre before a long hiatus - over a decade - to focus on her career and family before deciding to tip her toe back in with this Christmas performance of The Wind in the Willows.
Lianne Fox
Hi! My name is Lianne Fox. I'm 25 - grew up in China, moved 'back' to England in 2013.
Been involved in theatre since I was a child, haven't been involved in anything since a couple years before the pandemic, so very much looking forward to presenting this production of The Wind in the Willows!
