Ellie Wasylocha - Director
Seerche Deveraux - Spider/Head Tour Guide
Seerché Deveraux (she/hers) is a dynamic actor, vocalist, and movement director known for her versatile performances and unwavering passion for the arts. With a BA Hons degree in Acting, she specialises in vocal training, ensemble work, and movement choreography.
Her credits include: 'Mary' in "It's a Wonderful Life!", Janey Blue in "Paradise Rocks the Musical" (also serving as an assistant vocal director), Billie in "Miss Sherlock Holmes", Imogen in "Cymbeline", and Ariel in "The Little Mermaid" - touring children’s shows around Spain. She has also participated in online productions, such as "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", raising funds for Great Ormond's Children's Hospital.
In addition to her impressive repertoire, Seerché expanded her range with captivating performances in "The Princess of Trebizonde" operetta, and in "Hamlet" and "The Comedy of Errors" as part of the One Fell Swoops Shakespeare festival.
With collaborations alongside renowned practitioners like David Glass, Seerché has refined her craft and completed a devising residency with Gecko Theatre Company. Her expertise extends beyond acting, encompassing professional vocal and movement direction.
Passionate about promoting diversity and inclusivity, Seerché advocates for transformative theatre that uplifts marginalised communities and individuals with disabilities. Through her work, she aims to break barriers and create a more inclusive performing arts landscape.

Neil James - TV reporter/Grasshopper
Neil’s local theatre credits include God Of Carnage, Betrayal, Rope, The Missing Special, Further Education, Bully Beef and Lost In The Willows. He has also worked extensively in rep theatre with credits such as House Guest, Murder Mistaken, The Murder Game, Suddenly At Home, Taking Steps, The Small Hours, Fallen Angels and I Have Been Here Before for the London Repertory Players. Neil was in the debut production of Moment Of Grace at the Bloomsbury Festival, and played multiple characters in the stage adaptation of the classic Christmas story It's A Wonderful Life. Other stage credits include Dial M For Murder, The Good Doctor, Yes Prime Minister, The Ladykillers and 4 runs of the award-winning dating comedy Would Like To Meet. Onscreen, Neil has appeared in the feature films 24 Hours To Live Or Die, Strangers Within, The Cutting Room and Hosticide. He will next be seen in upcoming indie drama The Last Time You Saw Me, and as the lead in family festive film Christmas Time. Neil has acted in television, commercials, music videos and has appeared in over 100 short films. He also works as a voice artist for animation and radio.

After a career in the corporate world Ian retrained as an actor.

Katina Thomas - James
Katina, a 25 year old actress based in Newhaven and Brighton graduated from ACT Brighton in 2020 and is represented by Lucinda Leon Management. Most notably, she was in the sci-fi short film The Offer (2021) by Nick Lazar which gained great attention in the European short film festival circuit and was screened at the Kennedy Centre in Washington. Hana - Aunt Spiker/Centipede
Hana Vincent spent her childhood and teens training and performing with Seaford Youth Drama appearing in pop-up street theatre’s, summer and Christmas shows and annually at the Eastbourne Festival. Since then she has appeared at the Seaford Little Theatre before a long hiatus - over a decade - to focus on her career and family before deciding to tip her toe back in with this Christmas performance of The Wind in the Willows.
Mary Shorthouse - White Witch/Sailor
Mary is delighted to be part of this Ignite project. She has been interested in acting all her life and since retirement from working as an educational Psychologist she has been involved in intergenerational and community projects. She enjoyed playing the Shepherd in Flint Street Nativity earlier this year.
